Whether you come alone or with a group, every guest is served an individual copper pot. Copper spreads heat evenly and brings out the natural flavor of the ingredients.

SHABUSEI is a sister restaurant of Shiki no Iori Miyamoto, a Japanese restaurant in Fukuroi. Its menu was created from the know-how of Miyamoto's owner-chef, built over forty years in Japanese cuisine.

FAQ

Can I dine alone?

Yes. We have 23 counter seats around an oval counter, and every guest gets their own pot. All sets are served per person.

Do I need a reservation?

Only the Take, Matsu and Aoi courses require a reservation by 8 pm the day before. Everything else is available same day, with or without a reservation. Online booking is open 24 hours.

Can I choose sukiyaki instead of shabu-shabu?

Yes. At lunch, any shabu-shabu set can be changed to sukiyaki. Courses also offer either style.

Do you have private rooms?

We have a semi-private table area enclosed by walls (a 6-seat and a 4-seat table; noren curtain, no door), available from 2 guests. Groups of 7–10, or bookings for both tables, can use the whole room privately. Full buyout for 10–33 guests.

Is the restaurant family- and wheelchair-friendly?

Yes, children are welcome and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

What are your hours?

Weekdays 11:00–15:00 and 17:00–22:00; Sat, Sun & holidays 11:00–22:00. Open every day except New Year holidays.
